Relaxation Massage

Relaxation Massage (often referred to as Swedish Massage) is a very soothing and therapeutic contemporary style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this typically full body massage include relaxation, improvement of local tissue circulation, increase of range of motion & greater flexibility, aids in relief from aches and pains, decreases stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance,  & relieves stress & muscle tension. Enjoy absolute relaxation.

Sports Massage

Sports Massage is a type of massage designed for highly active people who engage in athletics. Engaging in sports is harsh on the body and can often lead to injuries in both the short and long term. Sports Massage enhances performance and prolongs a sports career by helping to prevent injury, reduce pains and swelling in the body, relax the mind, increase flexibility, and dramatically improve recovery rates. Sports Massage is also highly effective in aiding the rapid recovery of an athlete from an injury by encouraging greater kinesthetic awareness and in turn promoting the body's natural immune function. Myofascial Massage

Myofascial massage is a technique used to treat injuries and discomfort, reducing pain and increasing range of motion. Myofascial massage differs from other types of massage in that it targets the fascia - the membrane surrounding muscles - rather than the muscle itself. Since fascia completely encases every muscle in the body, imbalances in the fascia can have serious effects on your range of motion and comfort level. While other forms of massage can overlook the fascia, myofascial massage focuses specifically on releasing tension in this important membrane.

Deep Tissue Massage

60-120 minutes : $90-$160

Deep Tissue Massage is a general category of bodywork that focuses on approaches to realign & release the body’s deeper layers of muscles & fascial connective tissue.  Session is specifically designed to alleviate chronic muscle tension or injury of the body due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering issues.Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.

(often used in conjuction with Myofascial bodywork)

Pre & Post Natal Massage

60-120 minutes : $90-$160

Pre & Post Natal Massage Therapy (Pregnancy Massage) is a style of bodywork designed specifically for pregnant women. Pregnancy is a time when a woman's body endures tremendous stress due to dramatic physical and emotional changes. Using various techniques specially developed for the expecting mother, Pregnancy Massage helps release the pain and discomfort experienced throughout pregnancy. The benefits are profound, including emotional support, the relief of joint pain due to extra weight and postural imbalance, and improved breathing and relaxation. Therapist is special trained and Certified.

Cupping Therapy

Varied : $15-$30

Add On Service: This will be combined with a Therapeutic Massage Session of 60-120 minutes. 

A wonderful ancient tool has become popular in the contemporary world of health care. Cupping therapy is a more  modern form of vacuum therapy. 

By creating suction and vacuum pressure, cupping is used to soften tight muscles, loosen adhesions and lift connective tissue, bring hydration and blood flow to body tissues, move deep inflammation to the skin surface for release, and drain excess fluids and toxins by opening lymphatic pathways.

Cupping therapy is versatile and can easily be customized to accomplish a wide variety of techniques, from lymphatic drainage to deep tissue release. 

RockTape Kinesiology Taping

10+ minutes : $12 and up

Special Tape is applied over and around muscles in order to assist and give support to or prevent over-contraction. Application of tension to the tape or the target area creates space under the skin to create the desired effect on the tissue (improvement of circulation) etc.

Movement education uses a custom-tailored approach to improving your body awareness and movement skills. Combining problem-solving, guided-discovery, and exploratory methods, this practice inevitably leads to a stronger connection between the mind and body, creating a more natural and graceful experience of movement and interaction with other people.

Athletic form and functional movement as well as everyday postures are explored. 

A qualified practitioner will provide guidance. If another therapist is performing massage therapy, this practitioner will provide guidance. 

Using Corrective Exercise, Functional Movement Screening, Web Exercises, Posture Screen, and other techniques. 

A part of on-going treatment procedures. Packages available. 

This can be included with massage therapy and coaching, or separately.
